A few times in my adult life, I have suffered acne breakouts so horrendous that nothing worked and my face began to open up badly. TMI, but if anyone else is suffering the same, I hope they give the Acnedote line a try. I had horrible cysts and multiple large pimples all over my face, but the Alba Acnedote products made a world of difference. I love the scrub, the wash, the toner, and the gel! Definitely recommend the entire set!Love the way this smells. Having eye issues that have cropped up since getting it. I'm super careful to not get it in my eye, yet but I started to get a lot of annoying white bumps on my lash line after using this.I don't use makeup anymore and have combination skin with a dash of eczema when I use harsh products so I was weary to begin with this. I'm almost done with the bottle and have stayed completely away from eye area- which finally cleared up. The pores around my nose are better anyhow.Between this and the acne dot scrub, my face has never been so clearSeems to help clean my face well!I bought this after deciding that I wanted to start a new skin care regime. I've always washed my face, and used toners and makeup, but recently decided I needed to start moisturizing and discontinue to the use of very strong hydrogen peroxide cleansers in order to let my face be at it's best. I've suffered from acne for years. I am now 29 yrs old and believe a lot of it was caused by my poor knowledge of how to cleanse. I started out double cleansing with the Boscia oil cleanser and bought this as my second cleanse. I've used the alba acnedote peel mask before and liked that the ingredients in the alba line are botanical and natural. This has a very light scent that's hard to define, it's definitely not strong and maybe can be described as a bright, citrus scent. It's a thin, runny cleanser and did arrive from Amazon with some of it leaking and coating the outside but I just rinsed it and that was that. This does foam up, which I love, and does an effective job at removing makeup and oil without being harsh. It's NOT supposed to be eaten, but while washing if a bit gets on your lips which tends to happen, it tastes like citrus. Which tells me it does have a high content of botanical plant based ingredients. Of course I didn't mean to taste it but there ya go. I have it on auto delivery once per month now because it takes me about a month to use up and I'm using this as my regular cleanser now. You must needn't use a lot and sometimes too much comes out of the bottle but if you're aware before using it that can be avoided. My new go to! My face has cleared up considerably using the ordinary squalane cleanser as the first cleanse, the alba as the second, followed by the ordinary glycolic acid toner, and topped off with a bit of the ordinary moisturizing factors. I do not use a sunscreen and i know that will horrify most skincare junkies but there is a sunscreen in my foundation and I wear it everyday. I still have a long way to go with my skincare routine and perfecting it but the alba is here to stay. My face literally feels squeaky clean but not taut and dried out from harsh ingredients. Love this. Thanks albaI've used this facewash for years and love it, but seriously every bottle I have ever gotten has leaked when I travel with it!! I was hoping the updated packaging would have solved this, but nope...all 3 bottle I ordered arrived covered in gunk from them leaking in transit :/I’ve been using this product for years and I love it. However not once has this face wash been delivered without a leak in the box. It doesn’t come with a seal. I’ve ordered this product 13 times and all 13 times it hasn’t come sealed, and all 13 times it has leaked in the box. Even when I ordered the 3 pack it leaked through the plastic that holds the 3 bottles together. Please fix this. 5 stars for product, 1 star for the non sealed/ leaky packaging.I love this face wash! It leaves my skin feeling so fresh and clean and the best part is that it’s made with all natural ingredients that don’t hurt my skin or the environment. This literally worked to help my acne within just three days of using it! Seriously love it! Definitely recommend this for anyone!!At 63 years old I thought my acne would go away but that wasn't the case for me...most products out there are forteenagers with oily skin so for me they were to harsh and dried out my skin causing even more wrinkles. This product does a great job and doesn't irritate the skin. It works for me.I am 60 years of age and have had late onset adult acne since I was 30 years old. This product Really, Really deep cleans !!! Will initially sting on open lesions and sores. Will not do so on closed acne lesions. Also useful clearing sweat and grime after strenuous, aerobic exercise or working hard in the garden.I will definitely buy againI just received the product. The bottle is not full and it's already expired. So disappointed. What if I didn't see the expiration date and used it? Who would be responsible if anything happened?jut got the second bottle and it's expired tooIt works wellMy skin has started getting rashes after using it for 2 days. I cannot return the product now. Probably these products don't work with the weather conditions we have in India. Pls. make a note.
